We’d like your help to get the word out about our global summit—and to honor moms around the world!
All you have to do is talk to your mom, and share a bit of her wisdom with (and hopefully a video or photo) with us. You can even let your kids interview you—or “interview” yourself and share some insights about your mother or what motherhood means to you. We’re honoring the amazing women who raised us, the wisdom they have to share, and our own journeys as moms. Read on for details!
We believe “children” of any age and all genders coming together to connect with their moms will help spread authentic love and meaningful conversations this Mother’s Day, as well as serve as the perfect lead-up to the Amplifying Her Voice “In Moms We Trust” Virtual Summit this May 11, 12, and 13. The State of Women invites you to interview your mothers and share the LIVE recordings on Facebook or Instagram with us. If your mother doesn’t feel comfortable on video we would love to read what she would like to share and see a photo!
We also want to honor those who have lost their mothers or who are no longer in contact with their mothers. If you have someone who is a mother figure in your life, we would love to hear her thoughts and story as well. And if you’d rather talk to your own kids, or share reflections, we would be grateful to share your stories.

We’ve included a video below for inspiration and to give you ideas—and also because we were so moved by this interview between McKenna Tackes, our marketing intern, and her mother Shannon. Feel free to include whatever feels right for you, your mom, your role model, your kids, your adult “kids,” or whoever you would like to share with us. We want to hear and shine a light on your stories.
