The Indian branch of blockchain software company ConsenSys is looking to address that, with a course over five weekends designed to introduce particpants to blockchain technology and then help them understand it in detail. The course culminates in a two-day hackathon on the sixth weekend and a certification and graduation ceremony.

ConsenSys India, the Indian cohort of the global blockchain specialist firm ConsenSys, in collaboration with the State Government, will launch a unique end-to-end training programme in Visakhapatnam in June.
Founding Managing Partner of ConsenSys Kavita Gupta told The Hindu over phone that as part of the ConsenSys India Developer Programme, its first edition of Indian educational initiative, some leading developers working on Ethereum, an open-source blockchain-based distributed computing platform, would teach this course, enabling the participants to become proficient solidity coders.
The programme, she said, would be organised in the course of five weekends, beginning June 9 with an introduction to blockchain technology and deep dive into the Ethereum.
Two-day hackathon
On the sixth weekend, a two-day hackathon would be organised and the participants would be divided into teams and work on projects based on their learning.
